Justice for My Sister is offering a FREE documentary filmmaking training for adults and youth. These multigenerational workshops are being produced in partnership with Los Angeles City’s Department of Cultural Affairs!

We are offering trainings in both Spanish and English.

Requirements:

• Youth between 13 and 18 years old must have written consent from a parent or guardian to partake in the program.

Spanish Language Trainings

• Friday May 15 – Day 1: Filmmaking with a Cellphone

• Saturday May 16 – Day 2: Filmmaking with a Cellphone

English Language Trainings

• Tuesday May 19 – Day 1: The Role of Celebrities, Child Stars and Influencers  – documentary interview training English

• Tuesday May 26 – Day 2: Editing

• Tuesday June 2 – Day 3: Oral History

• Tuesday June 9 –  Day 4: Final Screening Culminating Event
