Justice for My Sister:
10 Years of Impact Help Us Build the Future

For the past 10 years, Justice for My Sister has trained, mentored, and launched the careers of hundreds of BIPOC and Latinx filmmakers.

We’ve helped break down barriers, bring new stories to life, and create real job opportunities for our communities. Now, as we celebrate a decade of impact, we’re dreaming even bigger.

INVEST IN OUR WORK:

We are seeking to raise $100,000 in sponsorships and contributions to support our Short Film Launchpad extension program, a new initiative designed to uplift and produce three original short films written and directed by BIPOC filmmakers.

These funds will allow us to:

  • Produce 3 original short films written by alumni of our BIPOC Sci-Fi Lab and staffed by our Production Assistant Certification Program graduates.

  • Grow our workforce development programs so we can offer paid, on-set experience to more early-career filmmakers.

  • Distribute our films more widely—getting our stories in front of new audiences through festivals, community screenings, and digital platforms.

  • Maintain fiscal sponsorship & program administration.
