Application for Sponsored Production AssistantS (PAS) from JFMS

Justice for My Sister is now accepting applications from BIPOC-led productions in Los Angeles for our Production Assistant Sponsorship and Job Placement Initiative.

Our PAs are early-career filmmakers of color who have completed the JFMS Production Assistant Certification program. In exchange for your on-set mentorship, JFMS will provide up to two PAs for 2 - 4 days of production and sponsor their stipends. The value of the PA Sponsorship Award varies from $500 - $2000, depending on how many PAs and the number of days that are requested.

Please complete the form below to be considered for this program. Your inquiries will be evaluated based on your project’s alignment with Justice for My Sister’s values of gender inclusion, racial justice, community, and healing through the arts. Please email info@justiceformysister.org with any questions.

Recipients of the PA Sponsorship Award are required to complete a training on “How to Run a Trauma-Informed Set.” This 1-hour training is pre-recorded and costs $50. The training must be completed before PAs can be placed. Completion of the training qualifies you for PA Sponsorship Awards for subsequent productions.

For payment, send a donation through Network for Good https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/communitypartners/ and designate the donation to Justice for My Sister Collective in the drop-down menu. Write “TIS trainings” in the memo.  and send the receipt to info@justiceformysister.org

Thank you for joining JFMS in our mission to build a more inclusive, joyful, and equitable media future!
